Rotary Centenary

On 23rd February 2005, Rotary International celebrated the Centenary of its foundation by two businessmen in Chicago.

Here in Devon, the event was celebrated by a special service in Exeter cathedral attended by the President of RIBI Gordon McNally, our District Governor John Burditt, local dignitaries, and representatives of each club.

The Rotary Club of Exmoor has marked the occasion in a permanent manner by installing bench seating in four local locations: Brushford, Dulverton, Winsford, and Bampton.
