I've just returned from a wonderful evening at Barnstaple where you will all be pleased to hear that the Dulverton team carried off the first place in the Intermediate level, together with the shield. With their subject "How the Credit Crunch is affecting Exmoor" they impressed the judges and the audience of 160. They were against stiff competition from three other teams, all so much older than they are, indeed we had to remove the lectern so that our team could be seen! Well done Dulverton Middle School. Photos show the 3 youngsters all on "cloud 9." Alan
